Security Raiders: Cracking the Toughest Lockers in Arc Raiders

Few challenges in Arc Raiders test patience quite like Security Lockers. These containers stand out from ordinary loot boxes: taller, glowing with a faint orange or blue light, and giving off a quiet hum that sharp eared players can pick up even through walls.

Getting inside one is not a matter of luck. It requires the Security Breach skill, tucked at the very end of the Survival branch on the Raider skill tree. Unlocking it demands a total of 37 skill points, 36 to work through the Survival tree plus one more to activate the skill itself. That is a serious investment, and it usually means reaching player level 36 before the option even opens up.

The payoff explains why so many players chase it anyway. Only raiders who have unlocked the Security Breach perk can force these containers open and search what's inside. Rewards include advanced weapon components, rare blueprints, and occasionally gear at the very top of the rarity scale.

Once unlocked, the skill also lets players search lockers that other raiders already cracked open, though scraps are usually all that remain in those cases.

Locations vary by map, spread across zones like the Rust Belt Ridge, Buried City, and Spaceport, with some tucked inside locked rooms that require extra effort to reach. Veteran players often recommend hitting these spots early in a round or right at the end, since contested areas near control towers tend to draw heavy competition throughout the middle of a match.

For anyone grinding toward end game gear, the humble Security Locker remains one of the clearest paths from scavenger to serious raider.
